One month old

Look who turned 1 month old!
Sweet Calvin and Caleb showing off their 1 month stickers!
I can't believe it has already been one month since we met our baby boys.  Our lives have changed so much but it feels so normal and right at the same time.  We're just a little more tired than before but we love all the cuddles and entertainment we get from each boy!  There have been times we laugh about how much easier it would be with only one baby but we have it pretty easy with twins.  Both boys are so laid back, unless they're hungry, and they're on the same schedule!

Caleb
You are gaining weight at an alarming rate.  You already weigh 8.2 lbs.
You eat 5 ounces every 4 1/2 hours at night and 41/2 ounces every 3-4 hours during the day.
You still have to stretch for a few minutes before you are ready to start eating.
Your cheeks are beyond chubby!
You are pretty calm during bath time but you're not too fond of getting lotion on your skin.
You still like to have your knees pulled up to your tummy like you were in my tummy.  You are our breach baby for sure!

Calvin
You are really trying to pass your brother in size.  You weigh 7.6 lbs.
You eat 5 ounces every 4 1/2 hours at night and 41/2 ounces every 3-4 hours during the day.
Your faces are so entertaining and you make them either while you are awake or asleep!
You love bath time and getting lotion rubbed on your skin.
If you are alone in your crib you scoot until you are laying horizontally.  Usually you scoot until you touch your brother.
You can go through an entire feeding without waking up.  But you always pop open your eyes as soon as we lay you down in your crib!
Even out of the womb you are the kicker and more active one.

Caleb and Calvin have captured our hearts and we are so blessed to have them as part of our family.  I still can't believe the Lord has entrusted us with raising twins, especially ones as special and precious as these two boys.

Thankfully we can usually tell them apart now.  When they first came home with us we had to leave their ankle id tags on because we had a hard time.  Now that their features are coming out we can tell who is who!  This has been such a blessed month and we can't wait to see how much more fun we will have loving these two and watching each stage of their life.
