20 month update

We moved this month and it was a big adjustment for the boys.  Caleb needed his snoopy for about a week during the chaos and Calvin needed his Momma!  They have done such a good job adjusting and it has been such fun watching them take in a new home and school.  They are learning SO MUCH at school right now and show us something new each day.  Here’s an update on what they’re doing:

Calvin
You like to call people silly.  I was making faces at dinner and you said ‘Silly Momma’
You love balls and monkeys.  At night we have a light projector of monkeys and you say ‘Monka Monka Monka’ when you see them!
You also love dogs… from a distance
You love jumping and dancing
You usually call your brother ‘Cay-cay’ but sometimes it is ‘Tee-tee’
You love pasta, cereal, and wasabi peas!
You love your Pop and Papa and Abby (we hear about them every night during bed time prayers)

Caleb
You dance by swinging your head from side to side
You call your brother ‘Tee-tee”
You love your snoopy and call it your knee.  When we sing ‘Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ you run around looking for knee!
You make really silly faces on purpose
Your favorite song is the duck song (Five Little Ducks Went Swimming One Day)
You love music and keep a really good beat (obviously from your dad)
You can clean a corn on the cob better than an adult!
You love pickles and juice.  If we give you juice, you down the entire cup immediately.  We’ll work on portion control a little later…

Boys, your vocabulary is just exploding and you are each doing such a good job using your words to tell us what you want.  You are becoming more independent and getting things yourself instead of crying at us.  You also love helping us around the house!  You have started praying with us before meals and at night.  We always squat down to your level while we pray and you both squat on your knees too!  It is precious watching you mimic us and learn from us!  We cannot imagine how boring life would be without both of you in it.  You have made our new house feel like home instantly!  We love hearing your squeals and pitter patter of feet running through the hallways!
