Houston Friends

Two of our dear friends from Houston, Joe and Ashli, met us at the lake for a nice relaxing weekend, or should I say three of our friends??? They are expecting a sweet baby boy at the first of next year!  They met the boys when they met us in Dallas one weekend but this was their first time to really get to know them and help take care of them.  I know Caleb and Calvin loved getting to play with them and they can't wait to meet their new friend.

 Perhaps it was a bit eye opening seeing two boys who can sleep anywhere... 

always want what you have in your hands...

 and are into EVERYTHING!!!

Joe and Ashli are going to make great parents and I know we will learn so much just by watching them on this journey.  Their children will be raised to know and love the Lord and will have awesome examples to see this first hand in Joe and Ashli.  We are so excited to share this journey with them, even though we aren't actually in Houston right now!

Ahh, the lake.  When can we go back???
