10 Months

We are in the double digits and getting too close to the one year mark!  Yikes!  If you met these boys you would say they are happy, giggly, and absolutely precious!  You can't keep yourself from smiling when you are around them!  We thought the whole weight gaining thing would slow down now that they're crawling and so mobile.  But I have giant babies who keep on growing!  Now that they are eating table food I think the weight is accumulating faster!!!

Caleb
You weigh 24lbs.  That means you gained 2 pounds in one month...
You are moving everywhere and still testing out the standing on your own thing.
You giggle all the time.  If you hear other people laughing you start laughing.
You can say Mama and Dada.
You smile at strangers.
You love playing peek-a-boo with us or your brother!

Caleb listens intently to instructions of how he needs to pose for pictures.

And then he smiles while sitting still...

and comes back later to see if we need one more sweet picture of his blue eyes and blonde hair.

Calvin
You weigh 22.5 lbs.
You are busy and don't really stay still. 
You can say Mama.
You are attached to your lovies and will carry it around with you all day if you are allowed.
You love BBQ pork, without the sauce!
You stare strangers down and it takes awhile before you will smile.
You love playing peek-a-boo with us or your brother!
You love your push walker but absolutely do not like to see brother playing with it.
You love reading books and are always the first at taking books out of the basket!  I guess you don't necessarily like to read them but you love flipping pages, usually alone!

 Calvin would not stay still and smile for a picture.

 He did anything but sit still and smile!

 But is happy on the move unless...

Here are the boys playing peek-a-boo with us one evening.  They would crawl down the hallway and then crawl and slowly peek around the corner. 

And Calvin carrying his lovey around one afternoon after his nap.  This boy can crawl anywhere and play with any toy while still grasping his lovey.

Books, books, and more books!  They can't get enough of reading time..

This past month the boys have been waking up early, like around 5:30-5:45 some mornings.  We were just bringing them into our bathroom and let them play while we get ready.  By the time they get their morning bottles at 6:30 they were pretty sleepy.  Then we feed them yogurt and fruit before they leave for school.  Caleb got a little too full and comfortable and fell back asleep in his high chair!  Poor baby was ready for his car nap!



We love our little book worms and can't wait to see them continue learning new things!  You two are absolutely precious and your mommy and daddy are soaking up every minute we can with you.  Thank you for bringing such joy to our lives with your pure excitement and giggles.
