Trip to Little Rock

This post has a TON of pictures....but not alot of writing!

Why do we ever worry about how our boys will act in the car?  Once the get in their car seats they relax, coo, and then pass out!  We took the boys on their first trip down to Little Rock to meet my extended family.  You might think there was some fussing after 5 hours in the car but the boys were great!  Now, once we stopped the car they were ready to get out and eat, but while the car was in motion they were happy campers.  Here's a photo recap of all the visitors and fun we had!

This is how Scott loaded the car up with Caleb in tow.  Isn't this the cutest smile ever?

And Calvin enjoyed his last moments of freedom on his activity mat.

We stopped in Conway to visit my cousin Leslie and her sweet kids.  It was great getting to catch up and see these cousins love on the boys!  Her kids are so well disciplined and knew exactly how to act around babies!
Addie loved on Caleb for just as long as he was happy and smiling!

My Uncle Scottie with the boys.

All of the kids except for baby Mia- she was napping.

After our stop in Conway we headed to England....not the country but the town!  We stayed with my Aunt Claire Rita and Uncle Rod for the weekend.  They were gracious enough to not only let us take over their house with baby gear but to also host all the visitors all day Saturday so we could stay in one spot!  On Friday evening my cousin Matt, his wife Jamie (and baby Ada who is set to arrive on leap day!), and my cousin Stephanie came over to see us.

Stephanie is so good with babies.  Caleb was a little fussy and she just calmed him down and he passed out!  They LOVED her!

Zoe was a little jealous of Claire Rita's attention to the babies.  She made sure to get plenty of love from everyone too!
The day started off with my Great Aunt Clara and Uncle Basel bringing us a pot of coffee...and getting some love from the boys!
And then the visitors started coming...and coming...and coming!  I am so glad so much family was able to come out to meet the boys!

And of course Granddad is holding a sleeping baby....I'm pretty sure Calvin was wide eyed and playful before dad got ahold of him!

My Great Aunt Betty just loved getting in the floor playing with the boys!

Mom was sure to get in her time with the boys.  She was quick to grab them if they got the least bit fussy and then she'd just play with them!

My dad and his cousin Laura.  Laura is actually a twin so she was pretty excited to meet these twins!

My Grandma McCrary with her great grandsons!

My Aunt Melissa and cousin Whitney with the boys.

My cousin Ashlynne also got in some love...

Me, mom, and my Grandma Cordell.
The boys were pretty excited once every left that evening.  They were worn out from all the excitement and activity going on around them.
Once everyone left Caleb passed out on his Uncle Rod.  He slept like this for over an hour just stretched out and comfy!

The boys with their Grandmama and Granddad.

Our Aunt Claire Rita and Uncle Rod.

My oh my this boy LOVES the flash on the camera!  His smile just takes up his entire face from cheek to cheek!

This scares me every time I see it- the boys look so big and grown up standing up against furniture.

Thanks to all of our family for taking the time out to come and meet Caleb and Calvin!  We loved getting to spend time with everyone and the boys sure enjoyed all of the entertainment and cuddles!
