Christmas in Arkansas

We headed over to Fort Smith for Christmas this year and oh yes we got snow on Christmas day!  The boys didn't really get into opening presents this year.  In fact they took a crazy long morning nap and slept through the present opening with all of the cousins!

We kicked off the weekend with a trip out to Creekmore Park to see the lights. The boys didn't really seem to care about the lights but loved running around the playground!

We had to bundle up because it was so cold!

I also had a visit from my best friend Grace and her husband Chris right after they got in from Niagra.  The boys LOVED them and had a blast with them.  Chris even taught Caleb how to color which he did for a good 20 minutes!

And then Christmas Eve came and my camera was dying.  This is when all the cousins were together and opened gifts from MaMa and PaPa and the boys slept through most of it!  Christmas day it started snowing and it kept on going!  The boys enjoyed looking at the snow but didn't want to touch it or be in it!
Calvin's favorite gifts were a guitar and a puppy book (he is REALLY into dogs right now!).  Caleb's favorite toys are Elmo (which he asks for every morning) and a wooden shape stacking train.  This boy can concentrate on puzzles and stacking things like no other toddler I have seen!  It was a wonderful Christmas and we are still having fun teaching the boys all about baby Jesus and who he is!

Merry Christmas!
