Thankful for Costa Rica

The boys had their first international trip for Thanksgiving to Costa Rica!  Scott and I are not brave enough yet to travel out of the country with the boys but when Grandmama and Granddad are there we're in!  The boys loved all of the cars at the airport.

And they were so entertained they passed out on the flight

And were ready to play when we got to the house!  We've never given the boys spoons to play with but they knew how to stir.  It blew our minds how fast they were pretend stirring!

Our family on the first night while eating before dinner menus even come out...
We were able to watch the most beautiful sunsets every night.
We took the boys to the beach the first day and they had mixed reactions.
Caleb learned to say 'Up' so that we would hold him and he wouldn't have to touch the sand...
Calvin was happy to run around as long as he had a ball in his hand!
and his Granddad following behind!

Another beautiful sunset- my parents with the boys
We had a group of monkeys hanging out in the trees by our house.  It was really fun watching them swing!

Calvin and Caleb found their favorite hiding spot!

Once again, Caleb wouldn't walk on the sand by himself at all!
All of us on our beach hopping day!

By this point in the trip Calvin had named my dad Pop or Pop-Pop!  He was always looking for his Pop.  When my parents left for a day excursion Calvin spent the day looking out the door saying Pop Pop...
The boys learned how to use a fork while on this trip.  They can't completely stab the food but they can certainly get it into their mouths!
Part of our Christmas present was a Zip lining excursion and afternoon of relaxation!

Thank you mom and dad for our trip to Costa Rica.  We had such a wonderful time spending the week with you all and really appreciate all of your help!  The boys loved their time with you and can't wait to see where we go next!
