9 Months

Sniff, sniff, this is the last month my babies will be in the single digits.  They are growing up so fast and are so entertaining!  They love hearing each other laugh and squeal.  When they see each other in the morning they get such big smiles, stare for a few seconds, then start crawling to each other giggling.  They give each other hugs and kisses while they're playing- this might melt my heart more than when they give us kisses!  They seem to finally recognize their own names when we call them.  I guess we finally got consistent with telling them apart!

Caleb
You bop your head from side to side to music or I guess just music in your head!
You slap your right hand against a surface when you are excited.
Your favorite food is....anything!
When you eat you sometimes go "MUMMM" like it's really good!
You say MaMa and usually come to me when you have a choice.
You crawl everywhere, sit up, and pull up on everything.
You love bath time and playing at the pool.  You also like putting your face against the water in the pool...
You have one tooth.  I didn't know how cute a one tooth grin would be!
You give fantastic hugs and kisses, mainly to your mommy!
You are such a flirt and so smiley when meeting new people.
Your favorite toy is to bang on the piano while standing against the couch.  You get so excited and just squeal!
Your second favorite toy is the robot but we keep this in the car.  You refuse to let go while we are putting on or taking off your straps.  You even sleep with its leg clamped in your little fist!  If brother was lucky enough to get the seat with that toy you just stare at him playing with it.
You have learned how to smack your lips together.
You also learned how to roll from your back to your tummy.  You actually did this months ago but decided for a few weeks you didn't know how, even though you can crawl, and stand, and move in every other direction!
When you have crawled far enough you just lay down and put your head against the ground for a little rest.  Then after a few seconds you pop back up and start crawling again!

Calvin
You say MaMa and DaDa and if you have a choice usually crawl to your daddy.
You crawl everywhere, sit up, and pull up on everything, and walk along things.  You are quite the explorer around the house!
You put anything in your mouth.  This is a slight problem since we haven't completely figured out this baby proofing thing...
Your favorite foods are squash and zucchini, broccoli with carrots and cheese, and any fruit.
You love bath time and playing at the pool.  You also like putting your face against the water in the pool...
You give great cuddles but are usually too busy to give too many hugs and kisses.
Your favorite toy is to bang on the piano while standing against the couch.  You get so excited and just squeal!
Your second favorite toy is the robot but we keep this in the car.  But you are too busy to notice if brother is playing with it instead of you!
We've mastered putting on your diaper while you are crawling.  You are a B.U.S.Y boy and are always on the move!
You are happy as can be in your walker.  You love cruising around at your own pace!
When you wake up you stand against the rails of your crib and just cry.  It doesn't matter if there are toys in there to play with- you want your mommy and daddy!
You dance when playing with the big musical piano!  I LOVE IT!!!!

They LOVE playing the piano and we love watching them together!

Sweet Calvin with those blue eyes, oh my goodness!

Caleb's smile is infectious and melts my heart!

They still haven't really watched t.v. and they love reading books together.  They crawl over to the book basket and just dig through.

We hear them crawling down the hallway together and find them banging on the bathtub together!  They squeal back and forth with one another and giggle then leave together.
Look at them hugging!

And they've discovered the tupperware drawer!

These boys love playing in water...
They are really getting into hugging and kissing each other.  Think about how much it melts your heart when your baby crawls to you to give you a hug.  Now just imagine seeing them kiss each other with the same level of joy and excitement!  Wow, not something I would have ever dreamed of experiencing!
